Home & Life Management: At its core, a traditional Home Economics course is just about home management. In this year long course we will focus on many subjects, such as human development, personal and family finance, food science and preparation, nutrition and wellness, textiles and apparel, and consumer issues. We take it several steps further by adding in home and vehicle maintenance, gardening and houseplant care, life skills, and more in this super hands-on, immersive class! Participation is key and students should be prepared to be challenged!

• Student Exhibition Project: students compile all of their work into a portfolio to display at Student Exhibition.

Homework: there may be some homework for this class, Ms. Carly will give plenty of advance notice of any at home assignments

Grading: there will be no grades for this class but full class participation is still expected
