During this 3-hour hands-on science lab course, students will:
• Learn how to utilize the scientific method
• Become acquainted with using lab materials and equipment
• Fully understand complex scientific concepts and principles, taught at their level
• Look at science in a more comprehensive way
• Complete lab projects that correspond with our HS Biology class
Class Objectives: Students will be working on a variety of hands-on lab projects. All academic work is scaled to the age and skill level of each student to promote individual academic success and allow each student to actively participate in class.
Students Really Enjoy: the collaborative projects and supporting each other's theory of what is going to happen!
Additional Class Information: This class is the hand's on lab component to our HS Biology class that is offered on Thursdays. You do not need to take that class to participate in this lab. Optional inclement weather make-up day on June 1st if we need to use it.
