Embark on a celestial journey through the wonders of the universe in our Astronomy Class for mature teens and adults. Whether you're a seasoned stargazer or an aspiring astronomer, this course offers an immersive exploration of the cosmos, tailored to curious minds with plenty of time to have your questions answered. Like all of our studio classes, you will learn through engaging multimedia presentations and hands on projects.

Topics Covered:

Weeks 1 & 2: will focus on the astronomical objects in our solar system, the Sun, planets, moons, asteroids, and comets

Week 3: stars, from their inception inside a beautiful nebula to erupting supernovas

Week 4: discover far off astronomical mysteries like exoplanets and black holes, which have only been observed with cutting edge technology in recent years

Feel free to bring a leak proof water bottle to class.
