Ages: 7-9 • Mix it Up!

A mixed-up, mash-up of topics and projects!
During our time together, we will extensively explore a bit of science, some pieces from history, read some great literature and see it through the lens of creativity! Like all of our classes, students will be gently challenged academically, at their level, while having loads of fun!
Literature selection for this session: My Fathers Dragon by Ruth Stiles Gannett
Example of topics covered:
- History of paper and cardboard
- What is a rainbow?
- Why were polka dots not always popular and who is the artist that made them cool again?
Many inter-disciplinary concepts will be covered from writing assignments, music appreciation, creative thinking, and more! This class is very hands-on and many fun crafting, multimedia, and other projects are completed during the class.
Note: No class April 23rd for Spring Break!
Homework: no homework will be assigned for this class
